Privacy Policy
Who we are
FragLearn is a free scam-awareness training app developed by Fragniti (India). It is available as an Android app and as a website. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use either of them.
Information stored only on your device
To personalise your training, the app saves a small file on your device. It never leaves your device and we cannot see it. It contains:
- The first name you choose to enter (used to address you in lessons and practice scenarios).
- Your language, sound and vibration preferences.
- Your progress: case results and scores, lessons read, and your daily streak.
Deleting your information
- In the app, open You → Erase my data. This deletes everything immediately.
- Uninstalling the Android app also deletes it.
- On the website, clearing your browser’s site data for our domain deletes it.
Information we do not collect
- No account, email address or phone number is ever requested.
- No analytics, crash-reporting, advertising or tracking software is included.
- No location, contacts, SMS, call logs, photos, camera or microphone access.
- No advertising ID or other device identifiers are read.
- The app makes no network requests while you use it: lessons, cases, fonts and sounds are all bundled inside the app.
The website and our hosting provider
When you open the website, our hosting provider delivers the app’s files to your browser. Like any web server, it automatically processes standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request, and may keep these server logs for a limited period for security and to keep the service running. We do not use this information to identify you, and we do not use it for analytics or marketing.
The website sets no cookies.
Android permissions
- Vibration: for optional haptic feedback, which you can turn off.
- Audio settings: lets sound effects play politely alongside your music. Sound is optional and can be turned off.
- Internet: included by the app framework. FragLearn does not send or receive any data while you use it.
- Sensitive permissions (contacts, SMS, microphone, camera, location) are explicitly blocked in the app’s configuration.
Links you choose to open
The app can open three official help resources if you tap them: the 1930 cyber-crime helpline (in your phone’s dialler), cybercrime.gov.in and sancharsaathi.gov.in (in your browser). These are run by the Government of India and have their own privacy policies.
The scam messages inside the practice cases are simulations. Their links are fake and sealed: they cannot open anything.
Children
FragLearn is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. Because we collect no personal data from anyone, we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Security
Your on-device file is validated every time it loads and discarded if it has been tampered with. The website is served over HTTPS with a strict Content Security Policy.
Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and similar laws, you have rights over your personal data. Since all of your FragLearn data stays on your device and under your control, you can view your stored data in the app (You → What’s stored on this device) and erase it at any time. For any question or request, contact us at the address below.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update it on this page and in the app, and change the effective date below. Any material change, such as starting to collect data, would be announced in the app before it happened.
